I already had one pair of Mephisto Ladinas and wear it so frequently that I wanted another color. The stone color coordinates well with jeans but can also be worn with lighter colors. These are shoes I wear almost every day for grocery shopping, walking, volunteering and errands. They are cool-looking, like a trainer, but have far more support than most, are supremely comfortable and can be worn with dressier pants and sweaters. I don't think the Ladina would work with skirts, however, Mephisto offers other styles which probably would. This shoe might seem expensive but the quality is excellent and the shoe so comfortable that they are well worth the price. I love that they can be worn with or without socks, are warmer for winter than the flats I was wearing in summer and though I wouldn't wear them in a downpour, a bit of rain does not seem to hurt them. These shoes are really, really nice and I would encourage anyone interested to try a pair.
