Comments:
These are my 2nd pair of MBT sneakers & I love them! They correct my posture and force the use of muscles in your legs & buttocks that do not engage in typical walking shoes. This time I purchased the walker type MBT'S. My initial purchase was the Sport type. I also bought a pair for my husband & he loves them & then bought another MBT style. My daughter then bought a pair of Sport MBT'S & she is also happy with them.

I usually wear an E width and the M is comfortable when laced loosely over the instep. These shoes cushion and support my arthritic joints - especially the knees - better than any shoes recommended by podiatrist. Easily walk distances + no sore feet after standing for hours! I can tell they work the calf and other leg muscles + my posture improves while wearing.

I love shoes and (probably as a result) suffer from plantar fasciitis. MBTs are not the most stylish but are the ONLY shoes I have found that allow me to walk recreationally in comfort. I also wear them as a preventative whenever the arch tendon shows signs of inflamation. The support and cushioning are phenomenal.

I have circulation problems in my legs and I have to stand a lot at my job. The shoes are comfortable and due to the rounded shape I can keep my feet moving while standing which helps the circulation. I also have back problems, this shoe makes you stand straight which helps your posture.

these shoes are awesome! they feel great! i can tell i'm using muscles i don't usually use, but it's not tiring...it's just a balance thing. i've not had them long enough to see really how much toning i will get...but i have high hopes! BE SURE to order a size larger than usual. i had to return my first pair and get a larger size. i can't really remember, but i think they said to order a 1/2 size up...go up a full size.

Comments:
I'll start by saying that you really do need to order up a half size as they run on the smaller side. They also are heavier, but are easy to get used to. Those would be my only negative comments. I have already purchased 3 other pairs of MBT shoes, so I obviously am very pleased with them. I have had surgery on one foot and require it on the other, so I definitely have problem feet. These shoes are amazing in that they take the pressure off of the ball of my foot and distribute my weight over the arch. This provides relief for my feet. I was concerned that I would have a balance problem when using them for my high tempo exercising, but they worked out fine. Interestingly enough, my husband is an Orthopaedic surgeon (bones) and he has had patients tell him how well MBT shoes work for them in regards to their foot problems. They're great!

Comments:
I wear my MBT's all day, every day. The MBT's are so comfortable, you won't want to wear anything else. The only down side is they are expensive. These shoes are not sold where I live--I have to drive about 150 miles to the nearest store that sells them. I have purchased mine on-line through Footwear, etc and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. I had to return a pair of shoes and the experience was entirely painless. I also called and spoke with one of their representatives who was very helpful. You do need to purchase 1/2 size larger than what you normally wear.

The MBT shoe saved my walking life! As time marches on the foot's fat pad thins; no shoes seemed to give me the cushioned comfort that I needed to enjoy my fitness walks. Add plantar faciitis, and truly I was struggling to find comfort to finish my walks. Then a friend shared her MBT experience; I tried them out and I am now on my third pair! I walked all over New York City without an ounce of fatigue thanks to my MBT shoes. However, it is important that you order a half size larger shoe; they run small. [...]

I had knee surgery last year-need a new knee. I am a physical therapist and I'm on my feet all day-these shoes definitely take the pressure off my knees- a little difficult to get used to-this particular style feels hard- a co-worker purchased the Chapa style and they are softer. I think they are a must have for anyone who works on their feet all day. This company was great to deal with-very professional, courteous & helpful. I highly recommend FootwearEtc.com and would use them for future purchases.

At first I was a bit skeptical but; they have won me over! The cushioning is like no other. Slight inclines and steps I can feel my legs, calves being worked. I walk taller, and more smoothly. You know how your in a car and you feel every bump and pebble, these are the best shock absorbers ever!!
