I wear these shoes everyday for 8 to 10 hours. I walk on cement the entire time. I am a knee replacment canidate. I loss weight and wear these and the MBT tennis shoe for working out. I also own the womens sandel. Need I say more. Buy these. They are what the doctor ordered as far as cushioning and work out ability. These are all you could ask for and more in a shoe. I am ordering another pair. This will make pair number 4 and counting. I LOVE THESE SHOES.

This is my first pair of MBTs. Like previous reviews(quite a few)that I read, order a half size up unless the company states not to. It takes a little getting used to in the beginning. I supervise 500 elementary school kids so I do alot of walking daily, by the end of the day I don't feel so tired as with regular shoes. It improves your posture and core muscles through out the body. The style looks updated without the heaviness of traditional hiking boots. Looking forward to purchasing another pair for the spring/summer time.

I have plantar faciitis in my feet and MBT's are the only shoes I can wear. My husband and I decided to go hiking so I bought the MBT boot. Five miles later my feet were still holding up. I never would have made it without these. They are a miracle.

If you have to walk around on hard floors for 8 hours and need foot protection this is the alternative to wearing those heavy leather boots.

Being from South Texas and assigned to work in Alaska for 8 weeks, I was worried that I would not have the appropriate shoes for snow. Because of lack of cartilage in my right ankle, I must use MBTs almost exclusively. The rubber sole and elevation made them perfect. I was also able to attach the rubber-banded cleats, for ice slippage, to the soles without a problem;( they are supposed to attach to any shoe). The only problem is that cold weather requires heavy socks; I'd have ordered a half size larger, in retrospect. It was already snowing when I arrived, so, exchanging them was no longer an option, as I'd already worn them.

MBT shoes are unbelieveable. They have given me pain free feet, back, and knees. I suffer from nueropathy in my feet. For two years I suffered from a lot of pain until my son discovered MBT shoes. I am a school teacher and on my feet all day. Now I am a happy school teacher who enjoys everyday with my students. MBT's have change my life so I am a happy person pain free.

These are great around town. Lots of support and they work muscles that others don't. Not recommended for rock climbing or slippery surfaces

Great for serious hikes
Comments:
These are great hiking boots for serious hikes. I love the rocker sole and have 3 other pairs of MBT shoes of the same brand and find the soles have reduced back stress. Although these are expensive, I am going on 3 years of wear out of 2 other pairs of MBT shoes. Good value in the long run.

The MBT shoe is the best shoe for anyone suffering from ankle problems. It's definitely an orthopedic shoe, but doesn't look like one. It allows your foot to roll in a natural pattern relieving stress on your ankles, knees and back. With the thick cushioning, I can walk comfortably all day! Be sure and watch the video before heading out. It's one of the best shoes/boots I have ever owned.
