The MBTs promote good foot movement and good posture. With good cushioning and support they are a good walking shoe. They are not sleek or stylish; the black at least blends in with a dark pair of pants.

I didn't expect these shoes to really be comfortable to be honest. They were suede, and when I got them, I thought they were very stiff, until I put them on. I need shoes with support because I am on my feet at work all day. I expected a month of break in time, but these made me want to keep walking in them. They are fantastic shoes! I thought they were expensive, but you really do get what you pay for. These shoes are worth every penny!!

My daughter who walks EVERYWHERE in NYC encouraged me to try MBTs and I was nothing less than thrilled. It took about three days to get used to the heal-toe action but now that I have been wearing these, my feet no longer ache at the end of a long day. I have happy feet instead of hurty feet. I highly recommend these to anyone interested in extreme comfort. I am already planning to get another pair!

I'm on my feet all day with not a lot of movement or cushioned floors. These shoes relive a lot of muscle tension, knee soreness, and keep my posture correct. The only drawback is the fabric itself which is very much like suede in that it needs special care in cleaning and care in not getting them wet or dirty though I assumed that. I absolutely love these shoes!

These shoes were necessary because I have major hip problems. they have relieved my hip pain, but noe I experience knee pain and foot pain daily because there is no arch support and they strain my knees. I continue to wear them because I woulkd rather have the knee pain then the arthritic pain in my hip.

I have been buying MBTs for my daughter. She has a painful time walking due to weakness from a stroke; and having dropfoot from a long illness. The first time she tried this brand on, she was extatic! Not only was she able to stand easier, the pain was significantly lessened in her ankle and knee when she walks! I live a little under a mile from work and I've been wearing these shoes to and from regularly. They are very comfortable and the style blends in nicely. They add a nice bit of height, which is great for me because then I don't ruin the hem of my work slacks. I haven't watched the DVD, they weren't hard getting used to. It's easy. I'm not sure how much of a work out it is, but I can honestly say that it makes a noticeable differnce in the impact on joints- which isn't a concern of mine but I definitely appreciate. I got these shoes for around [$] and they are originally [$] so for the price I got a very very nice shoe. However, I wouldn't pay the full price for these.

I work in a large longterm care setting and walk several miles a day up and down halls. I had knee surgery in October and my knees as well as my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day that I could barely walk without experiencing great pain. Since wearing the MBT shoe my pain has dramatically decreased. One warning, I did not follow the transition instructions and started wearing them all day. Please follow the instructions! I love my shoes and will continue to wear them throughout my career!

This is my first foray into MBT shoes, so I chose the ones that were on sale -- that is, the cheapest ones that I could reasonably expect to be able to wear. They feel like they need more cushioning to me, but I've only worn them a bit, so don't really know yet. They are black, so more for other seasons. I won't know if I like them until I get a chance to wear them more often and for more time.
