I would have never believed that a pair of shoes, especially sandals, could make so much difference! The comfort of MBT's just have to be experienced to be believed! I have been having back problems from spinal stenosis for a couple of years now. The MBT's have greatly alleviated the pain associated with walking. I liked them so well, I also got a pair of casual shoes that are equally impressive. I cannot recommend these highly enough!

These are the best sandals I have ever owned. They are very functional, comfortable, strongly-built and look very good too. My wife agrees about hers. My wife and I own 9 pairs of MBT shoes collectively. She now wears exclusively MBT and I wear it exclusively except for long distance/hill running on uneven/dirt/grass terrain.

I was having lower back pain and my neighbor saw me obviously in pain and brought an MBT brochure to me later that day. I was quite skeptical but went to a local store to see what they were like. I found them interesting but really expensive. I came home and went online at FOOTWEAR ETC and found them for about $100 less. I took the plunge and within 24 hours my back pain seemed better. The more I wore the shoes the better my back felt. Now I wear them every chance I get. They are great when you know you are going to spend lots of time on concrete or other hard surfaces. You can actually rock back and forth while standing in place. Most recently I wore them to wait in line to vote appreciating them the whole time. Now there is another meaning for "change has come". Get over any apprehension you may have about the way they look, after one week you will think they are the most beautiful footwear you have ever owned.

MBT's were recommended because I have knee troubles and they are suppose to be easy on your joints. The big surprise was that my feet didn't hurt! I have been a hairstylist for 30 years and have never found a pair of shoes that didn't hurt my feet at some point during the day. These are the bomb.
