I purchased these in the black and then came back for the espresso. They are true to size and need no break-in period. Only drawbacks are the lack of sheepskin insole (would have liked the added warmth) and the tie coming undone (I just double it). I tried using an Ugg sheepskin insole replacement but it made them too tight. Otherwise, they are very cute, comfortable, stylish and not bulky!
