the sandal has style and comfort. I have a hard time finding sandals that look good and feel comfortable on my feet and these do both. These shoes have the rare advantage of being feminine as well as sporty. The criss-cross design over the toes looks cute with pants. The pebbled footbed does collect dirt and dust however. The 8's fit me, and I'm a 7.5. I like these so well, I might buy another pair for when the first ones wear out.
