This is a classic shoe that has been around for along time. Seems to come back in style every few years. The bottom rubbery sole takes a little getting used to since it is different than a traditional hard sole. Once you're used to it you'll be fine. I look forward to wearing these for a long time. Also, for what it's worth I have slightly wider feet than normal and these fit quite nicely.
