Recovering from broken sesamoid bones in both feet and these shoes help take the pressure off the ball of foot. They also work as advertised in that they allow a more natural role of the foot that aids comfort and reduces pressure in lower back. They have the added benefit of helping you practice balance skills which are so important as we get older. NOTE: I wear a 13 US and have about a "C" width. The length of these shoes are perfect so true to sizing but the width is about a "D" but again as advertised. I have orthotics in these shoes so it helps to take up enough volume that the shoes width works fine for me. I highly recommend MBT's and Footwear Etc to anyone/everyone!
