Being on my feet all day at work, my back is sore and tired at shift's end. These shoes have eliminated my low back discomfort. It's amazing. I was skeptical at first, but now I plan on buying more pairs. They're much more comfortable than my Dansko professionals. I bought a half size larger, which had been recommended and they fit perfectly.

Follow directions, be concious about how you stand and walk and you won't be disappointed. My posture is improving. Perfect for to & from work wear. You must balance to stand still, so they keep you moving. Very comfortable shoes.

After having two foot surgeries in the last year, the MDT's are the only shoes I can wear. They never need breaking in and are very comfortable to wear all day long

I wanted to try the MBT's but did not want to pay full price. Shoe is comfortable. I have bought a dressier pair to wear to work. I did not find that I was sore after to wearing them, but do feel they make me stand up straighter. The shoes are a litte wide which makes them a litte unstable over uneven ground. Plan to buy a pair that laces up at some point. I got these shoes to walk to wear when I am walking my new dog and they have worked out well.

Comments:
I used to live near the beach in CA and wearing these shoes brings me back. Use them properly (per the instructional video that comes with--definitely watch!) and you really feel the sort of resistance you do when walking on sand. Calves, thighs and booty... all three are looking good since I got my MBTs. I'm also more conscious of my posture and stride. Good for the mind/body connection. That said, you have to be careful: These shoes are heavier than most. Know how you can't lounge around in snow boots too much without them pulling your knees in unnatural directions? Same thing here. To save my knees, I slip my feet halfway out or remove my MBTs when I'm not walking around. (And this isn't an issue when you're on your feet because your muscles activate and if anything *lessen* typical stress on the knee.) The mary janes are very easy to get in and out of.

I love the style and most of all the comfort of my MBTs. I have been wearing them for about 4 years now and my chronic foot pain, back pain, and knees don't hurt any more. I now own several pairs and the styles and colors have improved and have become more stylish through the years. Everyone loves my MBTs and I'm pretty sure I have converted many people to give them a try. I use them for walking everyday and all day at work. Once in a while I wear other shoes, but I can't wait to get back to my MBTs.

Love the colors on this shoe.,and I love the fact that it is a well made shoe., and its a fun shoe to wear with lighter color jeans. This shoe is a change from wearing sneakers and is very attractive on the foot. It also saves my back from alot of stress.

I bought these shoes after coworkers told me that they liked them. I would have knee and foot pain after working 12 hour shifts. The MBT company says they are useful in helping solve knee, and back problems; relieving tension in the neck, and easing joint pains. I have to say that so far they are right. There is a learning curve though. The shoes come with a video to watch that suggests that you only wear them for a few hours a day to start, and it teaches you how to walk in them. I just wore them all day right from the start without any problem. You are supposed to walk heel to toe, and that took some learning on my part. I discovered that I don't normally walk like that. It is starting to be more automatic now. I would like to address the fit now. I was told and also read that they run about 1/2 size large. I wear an 8 and I ordered a 39. With socks on they fit fine, so if you are not going to wear socks choose your regular size. I can't wear the no show kind of socks with these either because of the way the heel is made. The socks get pulled down the heel. I would have given them 5 stars except for that. You have to wear the kind that have an ankle cuff or higher.

Love the Lami,Tunisha and Changa. These shoes just make my feet and back feel great. But when I receive these shoes from UPS and open the box I cannot believe how well made they are. The quality is right there and really the price of the shoe justifies in the quality and workmanship. I am very happy to have discovered this brand., [...]

I have many pairs of MBTs! They have eliminated my low back pain. I have even sent my old ones in to be resoled. While they are not inexpensive, I feel they are are a good investment in my well being. My only gripe is that they are no longer made in the USA.

Comments:
These are really cute, I love the purple color. The grey suede is kinda light though, and shows water spots and stuff easily. I have narrow feet, so I have to tighten the velcro as tight as it will go, which leaves like 2 inches of strap sticking straight out in the air that you can't tack down. It would be nice, since it's supposedly so important for the MBT's to fit against your instep and arch and all if they would... you know... make them in narrow for those of us with bony feet. It's impossible to get a proper fit in them if you have narrow feet, because if you go a half size up they're too wide, but if you go a half size down, they're too short. However, that being said, though these are a bit wide on me, they're still really comfortable, and do not rub blisters or anything on my feet. Also, the first day I was wearing them I really felt the increased muscle activity in the backs of my thighs. I was even a little sore the next day! I would recommend following the DVD's advice and wearing them for only a few hours at first until you get used to them.
