I researched these shoes and purchased them for health reasons. I have tremendous back problems and they have helped me like no other. Actually I was facing surgery but now due to these shoes, I have been able to postpone hopefully for good. These are the best of the best as far as I am concerned.

This is my second pair of MBTs. I bought these because they are very stylish and extremely comfortable. Right out of the box I wore them for a full day of sightseeing in downtown DC. After 8 hours walking on hard concrete surfaces, my feet and legs didn't feel tired, no knee or hip pain. These shoes are wonderful and I highly recommend them. I did order 1 size larger than my normal size and they fit perfectly.

Two weeks ago I spent the day visiting museums in Washington, DC - lots of walking on hard pavement and standing on hard flooring. I wore my favorite pair of sneakers and after about 4 hours, my knees and hips really hurt. This past weekend I spent the day at more museums and wore my new MBTs. My feet, knees and hips felt great - no pain or stiffness. The chili and light tan Chapas are stylish and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend them! I ordered a size larger than normal and they fit very well. I have narrow feet and these are a true medium. The only improvement I can think of would be if these shoes came in narrow widths.
