I used this product on my leather/mesh hunting boots to repel water and my feet have been perfectly dry so far. I bought 2 pair of rather high end leather tennis shoes and used this on both pair before I wore them. I have not had either pair in wet conditions, but it gave the leather a nice sheen and feels silky soft to the touch.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
