The first couple days I had to get used to the way they feel when you walk in them. After about 4 days I was hooked. I may never own another brand of shoe again. I'll be buying another style of them soon. You owe it to yourself to give them a try. First time Ive ever come home from a long day at work on my feet where my legs and back aren't sore. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone looking for ultimate comfort.

Please make women's shoes in larger sizes. I love my 4 pair of MTBs, but so wish I didn't always have to buy mens. There are quite a few women in cyberspace with big feet. Please consider us.

My 3rd pair of MBT shoes. I use this on nights out. This pair can be worn casual or formal. It's very flexible as to what occasion you're going to.

MBT makes some really lofty claims about their product, but it all comes down to comfort. Before buying I read mixed reviews on the MBT brand, but I tried a pair in the store and they felt great. They allow the foot to move in a forward-rocking motion while walking so that even though the foot does not bend, it feels completely natural. There is also a bit of off-balance feeling for the first couple of minutes of owning the shoe, but it is not noticeable after about 120 seconds or so, and certainly not after the first wear. MBT's claims are very aggressive and I am not sure I buy into them. I do not feel like a Masai walking barefoot in the forest, nor do I feel like I am walking barefoot in the sand. I do not believe that I burn more calories while standing still, and I do not feel a difference in my posture. People also look at me like I am crippled because the shoes really look like those shoes people with clubbed-feet wear. I decided that if they do not like it they don't have to look at my feet. I have been wearing my MBTs for a few weeks now and they are perfect for my daily walking needs. My feet feel great, which was the whole purpose. If you take the plunge, be sure to invest in a good pair of orthotic insoles to enhance your arch comfort. You wouldn't buy a nice car and throw in a lawn chair as your driver's seat, would you?

I have went from the basic shoes for the masses of Rockport, SAS, and others into another realm. My delay has only been my loss. As for the cons - quite minimal. Shoehorn solves all... Perhaps the next one to explore will be Chung Shi. The price is the price... though the pain goes away. Grade:A

When I bought the MBTs, I could barely walk 100 feet without severe pain. As a hotel manager, walking is a must and now I wear the MBTs and walk all day. Still some pain, MBTs are not a miracle but in my case, nearly so. Much improved mobility and pain due to a bulging disk has been significantly reduced. The MBTs are not a fashion statement but then neither am I. MBTs are worth far more than I paid for them...Definite rebuy.

I consider myself an experienced MBT customer, but finding an acceptable dress shoe has been a challenge. The Lofa (I can't really get into these names) is a decent-looking version of a plain-toed loafer, with a little less of the the duck-waddle, upturned-toe look that seems to be typical of MBT's. It looks okay in dress occasions. The shoe fits well for a loafer, comfortable yet snug on the foot without any problem with (or even a feeling of) "walking out" of the shoe. Elastic webbing between the tongue and the sides seems to account for that. The leather seems to be a calfskin-like quality that should repolish and hold up reasonably well. I have not had these long enough to judge durability. I am committed to the MBT product, as it has resolved a chronic plantar fascitis problem that I had for years. I find the casual products to be the easiest purchase, because the look is less dramatic. But they have all been great for foot comfort, including the Lofa. I have recommended this line of shoes to many people, some of whom are still put off by the look and continue to limp around with their plantar woes. I remain somewhat choosy about the look, but comfort is king.
