I'm a fan of MBTs with three pairs, so I'm already sold. The benefit to me of the Koa is the strong velcro straps that eliminate laces. They're quick to get on and off and stay fixed while wearing the shoes. I also use these for 3-5 mile walks on occasion and have found them to be good for that kind of wear as well. The style and quality of the leather makes them a good-looking shoe for casual business attire as well. So I consider the Koa simply an all-around great shoe!

i've tried many different shoes, to try and find one pair that would help, the problems with my feet hurting... so far MTB are the best, for comfort, and fixing why my feet use to hurt at the end of the day.... i love these shoes.. and would recommend a pair to anybody....

mbt's.. i didnt know what to make of them. they look like old nurse shoes and they cost a small fortune for shoes that might or might not do what they say. well, footwearetc had (imo) the best looking shoe in the sale/discontinuted category, the kodiac. i figured that with free shipping and no tax, i could bite the bullet on this one. if they didnt work out, i could slang them on ebay.[...] i didnt think much of them.. light considering the size and the build quality was good. i wore them in the house for the rest of the evening but didnt notice anything special... yet. im fairly active so i didnt feel any fatigue for the next few days of wearing them full time. my sis who is pregnant said she slept like a baby after the first few days b/c she wasnt used to the extra energy required to wear them for long periods. fast forward a few days and im sitting in my desk at work and i was massaging my calf muscle when i noticed something odd. they were actually toned! im active but my legs are in terrible shape. but the mbt totally were doing their thing. all i was doing each day was walking the same path to the car, to my desk, to lunch and back home. no more no less. i was getting fit from the shoes alone.at this point, i am considering buying some athletic mbt to elevate my runs.btw, they do need some getting used to in terms of looks... but i love them so much, i actually like the way they look.

I am 64 and need both knees replaced (in Oct. 09)and this is my 4th pair of MBTs. The MBT shoes are the only thing that has allowed to walk pain free. I highly recommend to anyone suffering with AO of the knees.

I had two bad hips, now two new hips. Still have problems. These shoes help A LOT! Example - Now, at age 71, I choose to work special markets. The last one was outside, 32 degrees, took 6 hours, and I did not sit down once. Because of these shoes, I did not have to get off of my feet.
