When I wear these shoes, my feet feel like they are being gently caressed by loving hands. Almost all my waking hours are spent on my feet which, in middle age, have become stiff and sore. I've been wearing these for about two months now from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed and look forward to putting them on every day. They are like magic- my whole body feels comfortable and I can concentrate on what I'm doing instead of being distracted by pain. An added bonus is that after a few days of wearing these shoes, I fell into a stream (with the shoes on) and got completely soaked. After a night of drying, they looked and felt as they had before the unplanned swim. This morning I ordered more MBT's so I can alternate daily. The only complaint I have is that the lining is synthetic so it retains moisture and smells bad at the end of the day, but removing the insoles at night remedies this. I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit perfectly.

For such an expensive shoe that requires a rocking motion from the heel, more attention should have been spent on designing a seamless, smooth back heel. Instead, pieces of leather are sewn together horizontally resulting in a bumpy seam which caused the back of my heel to get a blister. It was necessary to purchase heel liners from a store. But that did solve the problem and now the shoe is great. In other brands,I normally wear a 6 1/2 wide, but a 7 if a shoe does not come in wide widths. I got the 7 in this shoe hoping that it would be OK. The length was OK. The width seemed a little snug, but not uncomfortably so. The toe area was fine. My only problem was with the rough inside heel. Hopefully MBT will improve their design in the future because I hope to get additional pairs.

I have 2 pair of these--one for personal and one for work! These are the best MBT have created in my opinion. They fit true to size, not too wide as many others are, and are and feel more supportive than my others--I have 5 others sandals and tennis shoes. I think they just need to team up with Ugg now to make a winter boot!

i love them. besides that they look great with jeans, they are so comfortable. this is my first pair of mbts and their everything i read about them. i wear mine when i go shopping and what a world of difference. my feet don't hurt or my back and i like the fact that i'm toning my legs at the same time. i'm trying to talk my husband into getting a pair as he has a bad back. i'm planning on buying a pair of the tennis shoes for my morning walks. i'm a very happy customer.

I use these shoes for walking around town and doing my errands. I´m pregnant and since I´ve already got one child and my back hurts sometimes, I thought I´d do my best to improve my posture to prevent more problems and to correct any ones I have. I´m also looking forward to staying in shape after the baby comes along. Since I won´t have much time for myself these will help do that automatically. I´m very impressed with the quality of these shoes. The workmanship is perfect it seems and the leather very durable, yet flexible. I debated with the sneakers or these [...]. One of my concerns was that I also have a narrow foot and these have a better hold. Thicker socks do better than thinner ones. The first few times I had them on, my lower back did ache a bit, but I had expected that from the other reviews.

I wasn't excited by this pair, but wanted leather. I'm so happy that I bought them! They are the best pair that I have--and I have 3 other sneakers and 3 sandal styles. They are the closest to the right size, not too wide as the others feel and provide the best support! I have weaker ankles and haven't rolled them once in these. I highly recommend this pair especially if you are looking for stability.

I bought these to work in because my heels had been hurting from standing on concrete at work. They are so comfortable and they put an extra spring in my step. I am so happy about the reduced price because I never would have tried them at the original price.

I love the fit, the feel, the curved MBT sole. They put a spring in my step and make me WANT to walk! When I bought these shoes, I thought they were ugly, but they were on sale and I wanted some MBTs and I thought I could at least dye them a uniform brown. Now that I've worn them, I forget how they look and just focus on how great they feel.

I usually wear 9.5 wide shoe - I ordered the 1/2 size up as recommended and I am glad. For some reason they are still making my feet tingle even though they are not tight. They feel good. It feels good to wear them at work - I get up and down alot; not too much walking... but I hurt, my back, my problem knee, my heels hurt if I walk in them straight for 3+ hours. My feelings are mixed.

After a few hours of wearing the mbt shoes, my feet felt comfortable. I work 12h shifts and my feet and legs are pain free all day and also when I get home. I have not felt any changes with my back pain but I will give the shoes more time to work.

I am a preschool teacher, and usually wear sneakers to work. I wanted a shoe that was casual, but not "athletic". These are comfortable to wear all day, and my back doesn't ache at the end of the day anymore! Perfect for standing or chasing little ones all day!

I hate new shoes. I hate to break them in until they feel comfortable. These skip that whole first step, and I love it. Since an auto accident, these shoes have changed my life. I went from a horrible limp and whole-body pain, to a smooth gait and considerably more comfort. After discovering MBT's, they are the only shoes on my feet, and the Kafala's are my 3rd pair. BTW, they fit tighter than a typical shoe - just go up a half size.) I also wear a cushioned sock.)

This is my 3rd pair of MBT's and I have found that ordering up a half size is always a good idea. I got this pair to be a bit more work oriented and they are great! I do a lot of walking at my job and these shoes worked well. They were very comfortable and look great.
