I bought this shoe for my mother, a senior with back and leg pain, who is very style conscious. I have been trying to get her to stop wearing high heels because I know that they are exacerbating her pain but she will not sacrifice style for comfort. She says she hates ugly shoes and anything that looks orthopedic. So I took a chance on these sandals. She was skeptical because they looked unusual in the box.
