I have a pair of casual Earth flip-flops, which I LOVE. I purchased this sandal to have the same comfort in a shoe that I could wear to work. The woven leather straps on these were a little irritating on my high instep when I first got them, but quickly softened and became comfortable. Some people might find the feel of the lowered heel of the Earth shoe to be odd, but I don't notice it at all anymore, and I feel like it helps my back stay in a more natural position.
