You have to put a cushion in-sole in these shoes. They fit a bit big and the they are hard on the soles of your feet without adding cushioning, which takes care of them being oversize. My grandson has a good laugh at both of my pairs of Merrill shoes. I think they're great - after fixing the in-soles. Both pairs!
