I work at a hospital and I am constantly on my feet, seldom sitting down. Good shoes are an essential part of my job. I bought a pair of Mephisto's in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1995 and I still have them and they still feel great. I heard about them from a National Geographic Photographer who put thousands of miles on his Mephisto's (he was being interviewed on NPR). Ever since then I have been hooked! Try them, you'll never want to wear another brand of shoe. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.
