I bought this shoe as a gift for my mother. She doesn't get enough exercise and was having some posture and circulation problems. I originally intended for her to just wear them around the house because I thought she might be embarrassed to wear them out but I was surprised when I saw the shoe in person--they actually were pretty cute. The maryjane style looks good and the designers were very clever about disguising the "MBT-ness" of the profile of the sole by layering different colors. I've seen other styles of MBT's on other people and this is the least obvious of all the ones I've seen. She is also having a ball wearing them for their postural benefits. Both my mother and I are very happy with this purchase.

I looooove shoes!! They run short and also a bit narrow. They are beautifully cut, and if worn without socks they show a bit of toe cleavage, which I find to be alluring. They rock up to launch you into each step, which is a positive thing if you have problems with walking.

I suffered a knee injury and found MBT shoes. They are great at alleviating some of the stress on my knees, which are a constant issue with me, since I need to stay in shape. You definitely want to order them half a size larger than your normal shoe size. I am happy I did. I have A LOT of shoes, which are more for fashion and going out. These are now my staple, everyday shoe.

I wear my shoes all day, every day. Had to do without them for 2 weeks when my sandles wouldn't work in 0* weather and I ordered the Mary Janes. These are perfect for the office and daily 2 miles walks. Next purchase is a boot for when the snow comes. I can also stand at the ironing board for long lengths of time and not become fatigued, have back or knee pain. My arthritis doctor was RIGHT! Thanks. One BIG problem - I have a high instep AND a wide foot. The strap across the top is very close to being non-functional. Another 1/2 to 1 inch would be GREAT!

I wanted to try the MBT, I was going to foot Dr for Pain in feet when i walked, especially the heel, even had shots in heels, still pain, When i received my MBT's I could tell a difference the first time i wore them. wore them for three hours the first time. couldn't wait till the next day. When I have my MBT's own my feet don't hurt, I can walk with ease. Mine are the Mary Jane's. Have to have the sandles for summer... I am so glad that I tried your shoe.. I am a size 7. I purchased a 7 1/2. I was not sure if they fit me correctly, so I visited the Palo Alto location. I was not sure if the store would help me as I purchased them on-line. The lady happily assisted and fitted me by adding some padding. Absolutely perfect! I use my MBT's anytime I can when it is not raining. The real test for my MBTs was when I do the dishes. When I usually stand for long periods of time, my back is in pain. I wore my MBT's while doing household chores and dishes, and I was amazed that I felt no pain after 2 hours! Compared to my other shoes, MBTs feel like air; like I am walking on clouds. This is a win-win shoe for me! The next pair I want to get are the black ones so that they are more dressy, as the ones I have are more casual.
