A perfect sandal for travelling the world; goes anywhere, all day. I have worn it all day, even for hiking when necessary, even for dinner. My sandal has supported me all over Venice, London, San Francisco, now Greece and Istanbul. Amazing how I don't bother changing out of it. Walking on uneven pavement, cobblestones, up and down hills, it's a dream sandal. People occasionally comment on it and ask questions about how it feels, "where can I get them?" etc. I just bought my second pair--the first one has gone back to MBT repair people for new insides. I also have the white trainers, the ankle-high hiking boot, and the knee-high nubuck boots (the latter a great winter boot--I went all over Germany and England in December, all day every day!!).

I have narrow feet with an especially narrow heel. This is the only pair of MBT shoes I am able to wear. I love wearing them and wish MBT would make some of their shoes for narrower feet. Narrower heels in the women's shoes would be great. I would love to have a pair for winter and for running.

It takes a short time to learn to walk in MBTs, but once you do, you realize you no longer have pain in your neck, back, or knees. I live in the desert southwest so these sandals are perfect year-round. IMO, they're also (currently) the most stylish of all MBTs.

I have 3 pairs of this shoe in different colors. It is the only shoe I wear. I can walk again. I live in Midtown Manhattan. Before using this shoe, I tried many other brands hoping to find one which would enable me to walk in comfort. My feet love this sandal (which I wear all year round). I am over 60 and so happy to be able to walk again - no matter how tired I am, my feet still want to go! PS My dearest friend suffers from neuropia (sp?) and was not able to walk a block. After letting her try my shoes, she bought them and can now walk blocks. Truly a blessing.

I could tell a difference in my back and leg discomfort the first 45 seconds I had these shoes on.....honestly!. I wear a size 11 and I have a rather high instep. The adjustments on the sandal made it so easy to adjust the sandal exactly to my foot. I've already recommended MBT to two other friends. I could walk forever in them. My back is so much better since I have purchased these. No, they are Jimmy Chu's, but I'll take comfort over JCs anyday. I'm saving up for my next pair!!!

This is my second pair of this sandal. I love that you can adjust it to make it fit your foot. I have a more narrow foot and getting MBTs to fit well has been challenging. This sandal is the best since you can adjust several places for a perfect fit!

I had hip problems and foot problems. I still have a problem with my foot that is a little better, but my hips have improved 90%. I had some problems getting used to them. I like them better than the tennis shoes as they are cooler.Every one that sees them thinks they are very stylish.I feel better than I have for months because of my feet. How amazing is that?

If you've worn another pair of MBTs, then the Kisumu is true to your other MBT size. If Kisumu is to be your first foray into MBTs, then order a size bigger than your ordinary shoe. If you have bunions - don't worry - Kisumu straps are completely adjustable to give room for faulty feet. If you have lower back or knee troubles, Kisumu/MBTs will help big time. You can't help but strengthen your core with MBTs. The rocking you have to do to stay balanced is subtle - it's great for abs and lower back. I know the shoes are pricey. But it is better to own one pair of MBTs and to walk or stand pain-free than to have several non-MBTs that hurt. This is a purchase you won't regret.

I WAS REALLY DRAWN TO THE LOOK OF THESE SANDALS!I work out 6 days a week so I do not have any back or foot problems, but I do walk a lot, so I thought I would give them a try. Needless to say I have already put In my order for another pair in shoe form . I usually wear a 7.5 an 8 in running shoes and the 8 fits perfect. These sandals are so comfortable for my problem feet. I am a chef and stand for 8-10 hours a day. I bought this color, the light brownish color and a back up pair(for when they are discontinued). I wear MBT sneakers to work and these for everything else (except dressy occasions). I wish they made professional (cleanable, non-skid) style shoes. I also wish that they were not so expensive. While I am at it, I wish they made them in less dorky styles! Worth the investment, but investment they are!

Kisumu sandals: I have worn size 41 med width sport white lace-ups for two years... and have loved them for my aching feet. I have a bunion and a broken toe on my right foot and a torn tendon that's given me a fallen arch on my left foot/ankle. Both feet pronate. I bought the size 41 med width Kisumu sandals and they fit FABULOUSLY! I love walking in them and hate taking them off to scooch under covers at bedtime. ;-) I usually have foot pain within a couple of hours of being on my feet - but MBT shoes/sandals allow me to be pain free all day long. (...what a blessing.) My orthopedic surgeon says I must have major foot surgery to fix my left-foot fallen arch. But I believe these MBTs are pushing out my date with the knife! At the rate I'm going with my MBTs, I may never need the surgery. Kisumu sandals are so adjustable they fit the most distorted feet. As much as I have loved my MBT sport whites, I have to say, I really appreciate the openness and cushioning of these strappy sandals... I love how well the Kisumu sandals accommodate faulty feet. Gotta run... well, walk... really fast!
