I bought this slipper because of the fact that I need a toe joint replacement and every other shoe or slipper hurts my foot. These are so perfect because I get to control the true size around my foot and they are open toed. The only problem with this slipper is that because you have control over the size with the velcro side closure, you have to make sure that you get it tight enough so that your foot won't slip out. It's easy to go with a little too much comfort and forget that your when you pivot or walk backward, you just may lose and trip over your slipper. Other than that, they so well made, comfortable and most importantly....warm.
