I'm a big fan of all Merrell shoes, but these are especially great because they can be either casual or dressy depending on the outfit -- jeans, skirt, pretty much anything! From the front/top these look like classic Mary Janes, but the bottom is almost more like an athletic shoe in terms of comfort and walkability. The only problem I've had is with the front strap, which sometimes digs in to my foot a bit if I'm barefoot, but this will probably get better as I wear them in. All of the shoes in the Spire line (I have 3 other versions!) have really good arch support and promote good posture. I have found them to be very durable if treated well. I love these shoes, and you will too!
